Ancient Beast is a browser-based, turn-based tactical strategy game played online against bots or other players in 1v1 or 2v2 matches, where each side assembles an army from a variety of creatures with unique abilities and stats. It's actively developed, runs across most devices via mouse, keyboard, or touchscreen, and offers alternate rule-set game modes on top of the core format.
Getting started
It's played directly in the browser; the project's contributing guide covers setting up a local development copy for anyone who wants to run their own instance rather than play the hosted version.
