This repository preserves the original 1983 Synapse Assembler source code for Blue Max, an Atari 8-bit scrolling shooter, as extracted from the author's original floppy disks and shared for archival/reference purposes rather than as a buildable release.
History
The source was provided by original programmer Bob Polin and extracted into readable form by AtariAge forum member DanBoris after being shared on the AtariAge forums; two disk sectors could not be read during extraction, leaving two files with no recovered content.
Known limitations
- data integrity: Original source disk contains two bad sectors (511 and 540) that could not be read; some files may be incomplete.
