brainblast

HaltedUnplayableLinux

About

brainblast is a Linux game programmed by Daniel Bengtsson, using SDL (via libsdl-image), the FMOD Sound System for audio, and graphics/fonts drawn partly from freely licensed resources; it currently requires 32-bit build tools (e.g. libc6-dev-i386) and autotools to compile, and is listed as unplayable.

Getting started

Building it from source requires installing several development packages first — a 32-bit C library, autotools (automake/autoconf/libtool), and the SDL image library — before compiling.

Additional notes

Assets
Graphics and audio come from a mix of original work and free resources credited in the project, including bitmap fonts from spicypixel.net, a font from the game KoboDeluxe, and sprites from lostgarden.com.
