Clonepoint is a free/libre, open-source clone of Gunpoint, playable on Linux and Windows. Custom levels can be created using the Tiled map editor, with a modding guide included in the repository.

History
After its initial release, updates added a tutorial and input popups, then music, new backgrounds, bug fixes, and a new map, along with Linux binaries. Once Linux binaries were released, the author stopped distributing source code directly on itch.io and pointed players to GitHub instead.
