Sherlock is described in this project's own README as an old DOS puzzle game inspired by a logic puzzle popularly attributed to Albert Einstein. Einstein Puzzle is a free, cross-platform open-source remake of the DOS puzzle game Sherlock, for Windows, macOS, and Linux. The goal is to open all cards in a 6x6 grid using a set of hints describing the relationships between card positions. Version 2.0 added sound support, full internationalization including a Russian localization, a reengineered resource system for custom graphics themes, and an in-game rules browser.
