Elifoot 98 is described in this project's own README as a classic 'old but gold' Windows football-manager game. EliFUT is an open-source Android football-manager game inspired by the classic Windows game Elifoot 98, using FIFA 15 Ultimate Team data. Beyond being a playable game, the author built it as a reference implementation showcasing modern Android development practices of the time — dependency injection with Dagger, reactive programming with RxJava, Retrofit/OkHttp networking, and several Square-maintained libraries — and it's distributed as a free download on Google Play.
How it differs from the original
Unlike the original Windows football-manager Elifoot 98, EliFUT is a native Android app that uses FIFA 15 Ultimate Team player data rather than the original's own database.
Getting started
The finished app is available as a free download on Google Play. Building it from source requires an Android device or emulator running API level 21 or higher, and a signed release build additionally needs a few extra credentials (an analytics services file and a certificate/API key pair) configured as environment variables.
