English Translation of Captain Tsubasa 2

About

This is an in-progress English fan translation and disassembly of the NES game Captain Tsubasa 2, built by assembling a patched ROM image from disassembled 6502 source code; most of the source comments are written in Russian. As of the current state, the translation is not yet fully complete.

How it differs from the original

As a translation patch rather than a new game, it keeps the original Captain Tsubasa 2's gameplay and assets and changes only the in-game text to English — and per the project notes, that translation work is still not fully complete.

Getting started

Assemble the patch to build a playable ROM image, then run it in an NES emulator — the project notes it works properly in FCEUX, Mesen, and Mednafen.
