FlappyLED

HaltedPlayableArduino

Based on Flappy Bird

About

FlappyLED is a Flappy-Bird-style game built for the Arduino UNO R4's LED matrix, playable using either a rotary knob or a distance (time-of-flight) sensor from the Arduino Plug&Make kit. It includes button-based mode selection, mute toggling, and animations/sound effects for game events, with several features configurable via compile-time defines.

How it differs from the original

Unlike the original mobile game, it runs entirely on Arduino hardware and is controlled with a physical rotary knob or a distance sensor rather than a touchscreen tap.

Getting started

Clone the repository, open the sketch in the Arduino IDE, install the required ArduinoGraphics, Arduino_LED_Matrix, Modulino, and Scheduler libraries, then upload it to an Arduino UNO R4. On power-up, use the buttons to choose rotary-knob or distance-sensor control and to toggle sound.
