About
Paradroid is a 1985 Commodore 64 shoot-'em-up with puzzle elements, written by Andrew Braybrook and published by Hewson Consultants, in which the player clears spaceships of hostile robots by destroying or taking them over; it was later remade as Paradroid 90 and Paradroid 2000 and has several fan remakes. FreedroidRPG is an original isometric 3D role-playing game set in the future on Earth, combining real-time action with dialogue-driven role-playing over roughly 12 hours of gameplay; it's released under GPLv2 for Windows, Linux, and macOS with original music, and the project accepts contributions through its own Review Board rather than merge requests.
