This is a transcode of the Gravitar arcade game to the Amiga, converting the original 6502 game code, sound, and graphics to 68000 assembly via disassembly and merging with the original source, based on historically preserved original sources.
How it differs from the original
Unlike a typical fan remake, this version preserves the original game's actual code, sound, and graphics -- it's a direct 6502-to-68000 conversion rather than a reimplementation written from scratch.
Getting started
Controls use a joystick: left/right rotates the ship, one fire button shoots, another applies thrust, and a third activates the tractor beam/shield. Insert a coin and start a one- or two-player game using the mapped keys described in the README.
