About
Super Metroid is a 1994 action-adventure game developed by Nintendo and Intelligent Systems for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, the third Metroid game, in which bounty hunter Samus Aran travels to the planet Zebes to recover an infant Metroid stolen by the Space Pirates. Hexoshi is a clone built in Python, requiring Python 3.6 or later and a set of listed dependencies to run from source; prebuilt executables are also provided for some systems. The game generates and caches map data on first startup for faster subsequent loading.
Getting started
Downloaded system-specific builds can simply be run directly; running it from source requires installing Python 3.6+ and the project's listed dependencies, after which the main game file can be launched, with command-line options available via a help flag for more detail.
