Asteroids is a 1979 multidirectional shooter developed and published by Atari, in which the player pilots a spaceship through an asteroid field, shooting asteroids and flying saucers while avoiding collisions. hyperoids is a work-in-progress Asteroids clone built with the Hyperapp JavaScript framework and HTML5 canvas rendering.
