About

Factorio is a factory-simulation game by Wube Software in which a crash-landed engineer must harvest resources and build automated industry to construct and launch a rocket, playable solo or in multiplayer with eight additional scenarios. Jactorio is the author's personal, from-scratch attempt at recreating Factorio's gameplay in C++, inspired by a fan recreation of Minecraft. It's built with CMake and requires a C++17 compiler, Python, and several bundled third-party libraries (SDL2, GLEW, ImGui, and others); development has become sporadic.

Getting started

To play, you build the project yourself from source with CMake (on Windows, or macOS 10.15+) and a C++17-capable compiler, then run the resulting executable; a weekly devlog and screenshots are available on the project's wiki.
