About
Knights and Merchants: The Shattered Kingdom is a medieval real-time strategy game developed by Joymania Entertainment and published by TopWare Interactive in 1998, in which the player leads soldiers and citizens as captain of the palace guards; an expansion, The Peasants Rebellion, followed in 2001. KaM Remake reinvigorates the original Knights and Merchants with extra features and modernization, running on Windows, Linux, and macOS. It adds multiplayer for up to 12 players with spectators and map/save transfers in the lobby, randomly generated maps, modern screen resolutions with zoom, an AI reworked from scratch for scenarios and skirmish maps, and scripting support for custom maps.
How it differs from the original
