Ladder is a platform game similar to Donkey Kong, written for the CP/M operating system and bundled with early Kaypro luggable computers; it was created by Yahoo Software of Los Angeles. ladder (Go) is a work-in-progress, text-based reimplementation in Go of the 1982 CP/M game Ladder. Since no source code for the original survives, the author studied its behavior by running it in a CP/M emulator and by referencing a separate, earlier Java port of the game to approximate the original's feel.
How it differs from the original
Unlike the original, this port presents the game in text form rather than graphics, and it remains incomplete — the author describes it as "a work still in progress."
