Pajama Sam: Life Is Rough When You Lose Your Stuff! is a 2003 point-and-click adventure by Humongous Entertainment, the fourth and final Pajama Sam game, in which Sam ventures into a junkyard to retrieve a missing comic book. Putt-Putt: Pep's Birthday Surprise is another Humongous Entertainment title this project also supports. linyaga is a Linux compatibility wrapper for the Yaga engine used by two Humongous Entertainment adventure games, Pajama Sam: Life Is Rough When You Lose Your Stuff! and Putt-Putt: Pep's Birthday Surprise. It requires the original games' data files to run and depends on dr_libs, FFmpeg, Python 2.2.1, SDL2, and zlib to build; the project is now archived.
How it differs from the original
Lip-syncing is explicitly listed as a missing feature compared to the original games.
Getting started
It requires the original games' data files (with .he/.da2 extensions), which are located via an environment variable or copied into the working directory before launching through the included boot wrapper.
Known limitations
- audio: Lipsync feature is not implemented.
