About
This is the official, community-maintained development repository for Lugaru (and its HD version), the cross-platform third-person action game originally created by Wolfire Games. It unifies improvements from several earlier forks into one codebase targeting Linux, macOS, and Windows, and is the same game sold as Lugaru HD on Wolfire's site plus further developments not yet in the commercial version.
Getting started
See the repository's COMPILING.md file for build instructions on each supported platform.
History
Lugaru was originally developed by David Rosen of Wolfire Games and open-sourced in 2010, with Ryan C. Gordon's help making it cross-platform. Community forks were later consolidated under the OSS Lugaru organization, first on Google Code, then Bitbucket, and now on this GitLab repository, which aims to keep the codebase building cleanly across platforms and ease Linux packaging.
