About
Marble Madness is a 1984 arcade platform game by Atari, designed by Mark Cerny, in which the player uses a trackball to guide a marble through six obstacle-filled courses shown in an isometric perspective within a time limit. Marble Madness 3d is a remake of Marble Madness rendered in true 3D rather than the original's isometric view, targeting Windows and Linux. Per its own README, core gameplay is still incomplete: movement controls are planned but not yet implemented.
How it differs from the original
The remake presents the courses in full 3D instead of the original's isometric perspective, and its readme lists planned obstacles and level objects that are not final or fully implemented yet.
Known limitations
- gameplay: Controls are not yet implemented; marble movement and player input features are planned but not functional.
