About
Vampire Survivors is a 2022 independent roguelike shoot 'em up developed and published by Luca Galante under the studio name poncle. Mobhold is a retro pixel-art auto-battler survival game in the style of Vampire Survivors, in which the player commands a growing horde of ninjas against waves of monsters, forming defensive clusters and upgrading units. It is built with HTML5 Canvas and vanilla JavaScript and runs in the browser; the repository is archived.
How it differs from the original
Instead of a single survivor, the player controls a whole legion of ninja units, clustering them and pushing a population limit to hold out against the waves. All art comes from free third-party asset packs, including the CC0 Ninja Adventure pack by pixel-boy.

It is a browser game, playable from the project's web page with no install needed.
