About
Onslaught is an unreleased, unfinished BBC Micro game from 1993, written in 6502 assembly by Rich Talbot-Watkins and Matt Godbolt while they were at secondary school. The repository presents the original disc image, the unpacked disc, and the decoded source, with the combined code gathered in one file as the best starting point for reading.
Getting started
The game can be played in a web browser through the jsbeeb emulator, or the SSD disc image can be loaded into any BBC Micro emulator.
History
It was meant to be published as a series of articles in Acorn User, but the magazine dropped support for the BBC Micro before that happened.

- The disc's help file is addressed to the Acorn User team and claims a full-screen redraw at 25 Hz with up to 16 monsters, 32 bullets/tokens, and 128 dots on screen.
