The Great Giana Sisters is a 1987 platform game developed by Time Warp and published by Rainbow Arts for home computers such as the Commodore 64, Amiga, and Atari ST. OpenGGS is a free/open-source remake of The Great Giana Sisters written in C/C++ with the SDL2 libraries, by Roman Högg. Its OpenGGS2 version is a complete rewrite with a level editor and reworked game physics, and it does not need the original game files.
How it differs from the original
OpenGGS2 adds features not in the original, including a level editor and what the author calls vastly improved game physics, and it uses original music by puch666 instead of the original soundtrack.
