Test Drive is a racing game series first released by Accolade in 1987, later continued by Infogrames/Atari and Nacon. OpenGL Test Drive Remake is an OpenGL 4 remake of the CGA version of the 1987 IBM-compatible Test Drive, written by Anton Gerdelan. It is semi-playable, targets Windows, and the repository is archived.
History
Anton Gerdelan started it in October 2014 alongside his computer graphics students' game-project assignment, choosing Test Drive for its mix of 2D and 3D elements and its unusual colouring; he had also considered Battlezone but felt it already had plenty of remakes.
