About

Solomon's Key is a 1986 puzzle game developed and published by Tecmo for arcades, later ported to the NES, Commodore 64 and other systems. OpenSolomonsKey is a port of the arcade version of Solomon's Key for Linux and Windows. It includes its own level file format so players can make their own levels. Development has halted.

How it differs from the original

Unlike the arcade original, it supports custom levels through its own level file format.

Getting started

Run the build script for your platform; Windows builds need glm in an include folder, and Linux builds need the Xlib and ALSA development libraries.

Additional notes

Configuration
Resource locations and animations are set at compile time, so changing them requires recompiling.
