Titus the Fox: To Marrakech and Back is a side-scrolling platformer by Titus France, first released in 1991 as Lagaf': Les Aventures de Moktar and retooled in 1992 around Titus's fox mascot. OpenTitus is a GPLv3 engine that parses the original game files of both Titus the Fox and Moktar, with a game engine ported from the original and adapted to its own level structure. It runs on Windows and Linux, and player movement matches the original.
Getting started
You need the original game files: copy a Titus the Fox or Moktar game directory next to the executable, named titus or moktar, and use the matching config file. Precompiled binaries are included in the repository.
