About

Pac-Man is a 1980 maze game developed and published by Namco for arcades, in which the player eats every dot in a maze while avoiding four ghosts. Pacman Arena is a Pac-Man-based game originally made by a student and posted on SourceForge; this repository maintains it for Linux and the GCW Zero/RG-350 handhelds. It is mostly playable but not entirely finished. It works on Linux x64, and runs on the GCW Zero/RG-350 at only 6-10 FPS.

How it differs from the original

Unlike the original, the player can fire missiles and drop bombs.

Getting started

On the GCW Zero/RG-350, A fires a missile or confirms, B drops bombs and Select exits.

Known limitations

  • platform: GCW0/RG-350 version runs slowly at 6-10 FPS.
  • completeness: The game is mostly playable but isn't entirely finished.
