Myst Online: Uru Live is Cyan Worlds' open-source massively multiplayer adventure game, the multiplayer component of 2003's Uru: Ages Beyond Myst, in which players explore Ages and solve puzzles together. Plasma is a CMake-based, cross-platform fork of Cyan Worlds' GPLv3-licensed CyanWorlds.com Engine (also known as Headspin/Plasma), the engine behind Myst Online: Uru Live, forked from the game's original open-source release at OpenUru.org and focused on bug fixes and platform compatibility. It depends on a number of third-party libraries, including NVIDIA PhysX, Python, and OpenSSL, and pairs with the related dirtsand server project and moul-assets game-asset repository to run a full client/server setup.
Getting started
Running a client built from this repository requires the companion dirtsand server project and the moul-assets asset files, with build and running guides linked from the project's own documentation site; the underlying game, Myst Online, is also playable for free through Cyan's own official client.
