About
Poing is a classic Amiga game by Paul Van Der Valk, developed across roughly seven versions released between 1992 and 2002. Poink! is a clone of Poing built entirely on an iPad using the Lowres NX fantasy console and its BASIC language, making it also a demake of the original Amiga game. It's available on Google Play and itch.io, and as downloadable source on the Lowres NX forum, running on the desktop, phone, and Coder versions of Lowres NX.
How it differs from the original
Unlike the original, this is a demake built for the low-resolution Lowres NX fantasy console rather than the Amiga, using custom Lowres NX assets instead of the original game's assets.
Getting started
It can be played on Android via Google Play, or on iOS/desktop by opening the game's page in the Lowres NX Coder app or a browser and using the 'Open in App' and 'Save to my programs' options; the earlier paid AppStore release has been discontinued.
