About
Minesweeper is a logic puzzle genre in which players clear a grid of tiles without detonating hidden mines, using numeric clues about how many mines border each cell. Privacy Friendly Minesweeper is an Android version of Minesweeper from the SECUSO research group at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, offering multiple difficulty levels and custom game settings, the ability to save and resume a game, and a record of past game performance. It requires no permissions and includes no tracking or advertising.
How it differs from the original
Like other Privacy Friendly Apps, it deliberately avoids the ads, tracking, and permission requests found in many other mobile Minesweeper implementations.
Getting started
It's available on Google Play, and saved games can be backed up and migrated to a new device using the companion Privacy Friendly Backup app.
