About
Pac-Man is a 1980 maze video game developed and published by Namco for arcades, released in Japan in May 1980 and in North America by Midway later that year; the player guides Pac-Man around a maze eating dots while avoiding four ghosts, with Power Pellets letting Pac-Man briefly turn the tables and eat the ghosts. Puck-Man is an unofficial Pac-Man clone for Linux by J. Odent, released under the GNU GPL v3, built with its own implementation and assets rather than the original arcade code.
How it differs from the original
It uses its own implementation and original assets rather than Namco's original arcade code or data.
