Fatal Racing, released as Whiplash in North America, is a 1995 3D stunt car racing game developed by Gremlin Interactive for MS-DOS, published in North America by Interplay Productions. ROLLER reimplements the full functionality of Fatal Racing/Whiplash so it builds and runs on modern PCs, substituting SDL and modern equivalents for DOS-specific functions where needed. It's playable directly in a web browser using a bundled freeware demo, or natively on desktop by importing a CD image from a legally owned retail disc. A companion project, ROLLER-matching, aims for instruction-matching decompilation accuracy.
Getting started
Play instantly in the browser using the bundled freeware demo, no install needed. For the full game, download a native release and, on first launch, select a CD image (CUE/BIN or ISO) of a legally owned retail disc to extract the assets.
