About
MoonBase Commander is a 2002 strategy game by Humongous Entertainment in which players expand a central hub by launching connected buildings and weapons while avoiding overlapping cords with opponents; it won IGN's "Best of 2002: The Game No One Played" award. Scorched Moon (also called Project Tether) is a remake of Moonbase Commander built with Python 2.5 and Pygame 1.8.1 or later.
Getting started
Requires Python 2.5 and Pygame 1.8.1 or higher, both downloadable from their respective official sites; on Linux these can usually be installed from the distro's own package repositories, while Windows and macOS users need to download and install them manually.
