Asteroids is a 1979 Atari multidirectional shooter in which the player pilots a spaceship through an asteroid field, shooting asteroids and UFOs while avoiding collisions and enemy fire. SDLAsteroids is an Asteroids clone built with C++ and SDL2 as a first-year university coursework submission for an Object-Oriented Games Programming module, using background art and music sourced from itch.io and an outside artist.
