About
Shrek 2 is a 2004 action-adventure game published by Activision and based on the DreamWorks film, developed by Luxoflux for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube (a PC version was made by KnowWonder). Shrek 2 Remake rebuilds the original game in Unreal Engine 5, with 3D models and textures exported from the original release via UEViewer and upscaled with Upscayl. Development is in progress: the Swamp, Carriage Hijack, and most of The Hunt levels are implemented, alongside platforming, climbing, combat, shop, and potion systems, while later levels and cutscenes remain unbuilt.
How it differs from the original
Cutscenes are not yet implemented, and the Puss in Boots playable character has not been added, unlike the full original game.
