About

Asteroids is a 1979 multidirectional shooter arcade game developed and published by Atari, in which the player pilots a spaceship through an asteroid field, shooting and dodging asteroids and flying saucers as the field grows more difficult over time. Sine is an unfinished remake of Asteroids written in C++ using the SFML library, with released builds for Windows and, notably, TempleOS.

Getting started

Windows and TempleOS builds are available for download from the project's releases page; default controls include separate keys for rotating left/right, thrust, firing, and hyperspace, plus dedicated 1- and 2-player start keys and coin-insert keys reflecting the arcade original.

Known limitations

  • gameplay: Game is unfinished.
