Sonic 3 A.I.R. is a fan-made remaster of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, part of Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series of side-scrolling platform games in which players collect rings and defeat enemies while racing through levels. Sonic 3 A.I.R. (Angel Island Revisited) is a non-profit fan-made remaster of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, built on a custom Oxygen Engine and its lemonscript scripting language. It builds for Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and the web (via Emscripten), plus an unmaintained Switch build and a community-made PS Vita port, and includes a remastered soundtrack.
Getting started
Requires the original Sonic 3 & Knuckles game assets to run. Build instructions are provided per platform in the repository, including Visual Studio for Windows, Xcode for Mac, CMake for Linux, and dedicated Android/Emscripten guides.
