About
Subway Surfers is a 2012 endless runner mobile game co-developed by Kiloo and SYBO Games, available on iOS, Android, HarmonyOS NEXT, Amazon Fire Tablet, and Windows Phone, and built using the Unity engine. Subway Miner is AFCMS's entry for the Minetest Game Jam 2021, an endless runner built in Minetest/Luanti inspired by both Subway Surfers and Temple Run, in which the player dodges obstacles while collecting mese crystals. It requires Minetest 5.4.1 or later (5.5-dev recommended to avoid graphical issues) and at least a 1920x1080 display for its menus to render properly; map generation is not yet fully implemented due to limited development time.
Getting started
The game runs through Minetest/Luanti — install and launch it via Minetest (version 5.4.1 or later, ideally 5.5-dev) on a display of at least 1920x1080 so the menus display correctly.
Known limitations
- compatibility: Requires at least 1920x1080 display resolution for menus to display properly.
- feature: Map generation is not fully implemented due to limited development time.
