The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is a 1993 Nintendo Game Boy action-adventure game, notable in the series for taking place away from Hyrule on Koholint Island, without Princess Zelda or the Triforce. A Link to the Dream is a fan-made remake of Link's Awakening DX, distributed as a quest data package for the free, open-source Solarus 2D Action-RPG engine, which is required to run it. It's a single-player game with an estimated 20-hour playtime, available in French, with no release date announced yet.

Getting started

Play through Solarus Launcher by adding the quest folder and clicking Play, or run it from the command line with solarus-run pointed at the quest directory. On Linux, the quest can also be built and installed with cmake and make.
