About

The Way of the Exploding Fist is a 1985 martial-arts fighting game developed by Beam Software and published by Melbourne House for the Commodore 64, later ported to the Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, BBC Micro, Acorn Electron, and Commodore 16. This is a disassembly of the ZX Spectrum version of The Way of the Exploding Fist, built with SkoolKit and published as a browsable hex and decimal annotated disassembly online. It requires owning the original game to build, since the disassembly works from the actual game code.

Getting started

The disassembly is published online as browsable hex and decimal versions; building the current development version requires installing SkoolKit (or cloning its repository) and running the project's build script, and you need to own a copy of the original game to do so.

Requires original assets. You must own the original game in order to disassemble and work with the game code.
