About
Tube is a little-known 1994 MS-DOS game from Bullfrog that was never released as a standalone commercial title and was instead given away as freeware; it uses an old demo trick to simulate an endless forward-moving tunnel with vector effects, similar to a long race track. Tube64 is a 64-bit remake of the DOS game Tube, built from decompiled source code of the original (hosted in a companion repository) and playable on Linux, Windows, and directly in a browser. The gameplay has the player accelerating through the tunnel-like track, destroying obstacles and collecting weapon upgrades before time runs out.
Getting started
Controls: 1 or 2 selects the player, Q accelerates forward and A reverses, O and P steer left and right, spacebar fires weapons, and Enter drops a bomb; Esc exits the game. It can be played in a browser via the linked itch.io page, or downloaded as a Windows/Linux release.
