About
V'Ball is a 1988 volleyball arcade game developed and published by Technos Japan (released in North America by Taito), later ported to the NES as Super Spike V'Ball and to the X68000 computer in Japan. This is a from-scratch Amiga remake of US Championship V'ball, reverse-engineered and hand-transcoded from the original 68000 code with no access to source. It ships as separate ECS and AGA versions (32-, 64- and 128-color modes) targeting 25 or 50 FPS depending on the Amiga model, and requires a hard drive, WHDLoad, and some fast memory to run.
Getting started
Play with a 2-button joystick or the keyboard: press fire to insert a coin, then a start key or joystick direction to begin a 1- or 2-player game; arrows or the joystick move, one button hits the ball, and another jumps or builds spike power. Cheat keys are also available to adjust the score or force an immediate win.
Known limitations

Additional notes
- Trivia
- The net is drawn as part of the background rather than as a moving sprite, an optimization the developer says was tricky to tune so players wouldn't appear to clip through it.
