About
2048 is a single-player sliding-tile puzzle game created by Gabriele Cirulli, released as open-source software on GitHub in March 2014; players slide numbered tiles on a grid to combine them into a tile numbered 2048, with the option to keep playing for higher numbers afterward. 2050 is an Android game (distributed via F-Droid and Google Play) loosely based on 2048, replacing the fixed grid of numbered squares with numbered circles that move freely and respond to gravity.
How it differs from the original
Instead of sliding tiles on a fixed grid, 2050's numbered balls move continuously, bounce off walls and each other, and are pulled by an adjustable gravity direction (set by swiping, arrow keys, or tilting the device via its accelerometer); the game ends when built-up pressure between packed balls crosses a threshold rather than when the grid fills up.
Getting started
Swipe, use arrow keys, or tilt the device (if it has an accelerometer) to change the direction of gravity; merge same-numbered balls by making them touch, aiming for a 2048 ball, with play continuing afterward toward 4096 and beyond.

- The title is a play on words: "2050: it's 2048, but rounded."
