About
This is a rebuild of Alien Breed 3D I for Amiga, assembled with VS Code's Amiga Assembly extension around the original source, and it requires the original game's data files to run. It targets AGA Amiga hardware with a 68020 CPU, 2MB Chip and 2MB Fast RAM, and Kickstart 3.1; per the README it builds, runs, and is playable, though development on the repository appears to have halted.
How it differs from the original
It adds a few conveniences not present in the original release: an Esc-key shortcut to exit to the shell from the main menu, optional WASD movement controls (toggled with the 'n' key), and level passwords that are saved automatically on exit.
Getting started
Running it requires pairing the rebuilt program with the original Alien Breed 3D I data files on real or emulated Amiga AGA hardware meeting the stated RAM and Kickstart requirements; from the main menu, Tab cycles between level passwords.
