About
ArashiJS is a work-in-progress JavaScript/HTML5 clone of Tempest, adapted from an existing Macintosh clone called Project ARASHI rather than built directly from the arcade original. It is incomplete, and is released under the GPL v2.
How it differs from the original
Rather than reimplementing Tempest directly, ArashiJS is adapted from Project ARASHI, an existing Macintosh clone of Tempest, so its behavior traces through that intermediate project rather than the original game.
Getting started
Play the latest build directly online via the hosted version, or download the project and open its main HTML file locally in a browser.
Known limitations
- gameplay: The game is incomplete at the time of writing.
