Cloned Games

Legion: 2 Open Source Clones Compared

LegionGame is a from-scratch rewrite of Legion in C# using MonoGame, based directly on the original AMOS source code, and specifically aims to fix two bugs present in the original: items duplicating when dropped and reloaded, and poor character pathfinding. It supports 64-bit Windows and Linux, though development has stalled with menus, combat commands, terrain rendering, and the store view still unfinished. The other Legion repository has almost no documentation of its own, beyond a note that it was created about three years earlier and hadn't been developed since.
