Ms. Pac-Man: 6 Open Source Clones Compared
Two of the clones are NES disassemblies of different original releases: one reconstructs the 1993 Namco/Now Production version, the other the 1990 Tengen version, and both require you to rip the graphics data yourself from a ROM since neither disassembly ships original assets. MsPacman 500 takes a different approach, a from-scratch 68k-assembly port to the Amiga 500 that ships its own converted visual and sound assets and runs at full 50fps PAL speed without needing any ROM.
