Team Fortress 2: 2 Open Source Clones Compared
Gang Garrison 2 is a 2D pixel-art demake of Team Fortress 2 with its own original assets, recreating TF2's ten classes and objective modes while adding two modes not in the source game (Generator and Dual King of the Hill). Source SDK 2013 is different in kind: it's Valve's own SDK containing the actual game code for Half-Life 2, HL2: Deathmatch, and Team Fortress 2, used to build mods for those games rather than a standalone reinterpretation of any of them.
