Dusklight is built on the community Twilight Princess decompilation project — the other entry here — rather than being an independent reimplementation. Because it's based on that decompilation's GameCube-matching branch, Dusklight displays the GameCube version's HUD and other GameCube-specific details even when run from a Wii disc, and supports far more platforms (including macOS, iOS, and Android) at the cost of requiring a GPU with D3D12, Vulkan 1.1+, or Metal support. The decompilation project itself aims only to rebuild a binary identical to the original from a legally dumped disc, playable via Dolphin or original GameCube/Wii hardware, with the Wii versions still not fully linked.
