About
This is the official source code release of Hovertank 3D, id Software's 1991 MS-DOS game, written for Borland C++ 2.0 (confirmed to also compile under Borland C++ 3.1) and released under the GPLv2. The release contains only the program source, not the original game's data files.
Getting started
Building the game requires Borland C++ and the original game's data files, which are not included in this release and must be legally acquired separately before a working executable can run.
