About
Another World is Éric Chahi's cinematic platform action-adventure game, published by Delphine Software in 1991 and released in North America as Out of This World. NEO-RAW is a reimplementation of Another World's virtual machine, based on Gregory Montoir's raw engine and cleaned up by Fabien Sanglard for legibility and readability. It supports the English PC DOS version (Out of This World) and targets Linux.
Getting started
It builds with CMake and needs the original game's data files, placed next to the executable or pointed to with a data-path option. Arrow keys move Lester and Enter/Space runs or shoots; there are also hotkeys to enter level codes, pause, save and load game states, toggle a fast mode and change the window scale.
