About
2048 is a sliding-tile puzzle game written by Gabriele Cirulli and released on GitHub in March 2014 as free, open-source software; the goal is to slide numbered tiles together to reach a tile numbered 2048. Privacy Friendly 2048 is an Android implementation of the 2048 puzzle game, part of the SECUSO research group's 'Privacy Friendly Apps' series. It requires no Android permissions and includes no tracking or advertising mechanisms.
How it differs from the original
Unlike many mobile 2048 implementations, it deliberately omits analytics, ads, and permission requests as a privacy-focused design choice.
Getting started
It's available on F-Droid, and game data can be backed up and migrated to a new phone using the companion Privacy Friendly Backup app.
